Thanks to the Dejana Family Foundation, Northwell Health, the Port Washington Adult Activity Center and Town of North Hempstead, Port Washington residents have access to Free COVID-19 Testing! Testing is such an important part of controlling the spread of this terrible virus and I think it's great that our community is able to provide this type of service right now. I would encourage any Port Washington resident that needs a COVID-19 test to register by calling 1-833-422-7369.

If you're considering moving to Long Island or Port Washington, you will want to check out one of my favorite traditions, the SOUPer Bowl!
Organized by the Port Washington Chamber of Commerce and hosted by The Archangel Michael Greek Orthodox Church, this annual event is a favorite of many locals. For the past twelve years, the SOUPer Bowl has been featuring delicious hot soups served by some of Long Island North Shore’s best restaurants. Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty is proud to be one of the original sponsors of this community event and many of the best real estate agents in Port Washington volunteer to serve the community on this fun day. Don’t forget to check out the Chamber’s website (www.pwcoc.org) to find out who makes the best soups in town! Your Realtor With A Heart <3 xx Carol ATTN: All Nassau County Property Owners

Each year, the JLLI volunteers gather at the headquarters in Roslyn to assemble 125 Thanksgiving Day baskets to distribute to those in need. The volunteers spend many hours lining up generous donors that provide a complete Thanksgiving meal for those families on Long Island that would otherwise not enjoy what we may take for granted. After creating the Thanksgiving Baskets, they are then delivered to organizations all around Long Island for further distribution. This day, we delivered baskets to the very special Isoken Irowa from Christ’s First Presbyterian Church in Hempstead. Isoken and her trusty helper, Lucky, work with local school’s to identify families that are in need of support during the holidays. It was such a pleasure and a privilege to meet Isoken and Lucky and I can’t wait for next year’s Thanksgiving Basket Drive!
